Kingston Polytechnic College, Kolkata, formerly known as KPC, is an engineering college founded in 2004 in Kolkata, India. Students can pursue degree programs in Engineering & Technology and polytechnic at the college.

Kingston Educational Institute has announced the Kingston Scholarship test. The scholarship's goal is to reach out to, find, award, and encourage deserving students. Multiple-choice questions are used in the scholarship test.

• Academic Scholarship

Merit-based scholarships, which range from 25% fee waivers to 100% fee waivers, are available for undergraduate and postgraduate programs based on past academic performance.

• Financial Aid

Scholarships are awarded solely on the basis of the financial standing of a student's family and past academic performance. Applicants must have a family income of at least Rs 2.5 lac per year. Family income is between Rs 2.5 to 5 lac per year.

Entrance Exams for Kingston Polytechnic College, Kolkata Diploma Admission 2023

Students who have appeared for JEXPO 2022, or other state-level entrance exams can apply for diploma admissions. 

Every year, the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education organises the JEXPO admission test. JEXPO is a state-level entrance test that allows students to get admission to diploma programmes in West Bengal. JEXPO, or the Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics, is an examination for admission to diploma programmes in engineering, technology, and architecture.

• JEXPO will be held in an offline format.
• The question paper will be accessible in both English and Bengali.
• The examination will consist of multiple-choice questions.
• The examination will consist of 100 questions in total.
• The exam will take two hours to complete.
• One point will be granted for each correct response. 0.25 points will be removed for each incorrect answer.

Kingston Polytechnic College Events 

• Inter-School Football Tournament: This tournament is organised every year and involves participation from leading football teams from 38 schools in the state, with matches being played across grounds at Dumdum Central Jail Maidan and KEI Barasat Campus. The tournament runs for a duration of approximately 10 days in a well-maintained spacious and huge athlete-friendly playground which is situated inside KEI Campus.
